Ladies, fret not if you can’t stand the taste of pure protein shakes. The good news is, if you know how to make use of the protein powder wisely, it can be great tasting and you will get the protein loading benefits as well.

Here’s one recipe that can make it more palatable.

Chocolate Protein Banana Pancake

Makes 2-3 pancakes.

Ingredients:

½ cup rolled oats

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 banana

1 egg and 1 egg white

1 teaspoon baking powder

Olive oil for pan fry

Method:

Blend all ingredients (except olive oil) together to make pancake mixture

Put a few drops of olive oil on heated sauce pan, pour in mixture to make pancake.

Serve with banana slices and drizzle with honey (optional).
